Catwalk For Christmas
By Stephen Noble on November 19, 2010 in Style
To help you make a better sense of all the Christmas fashion choices, the Metrocentre is running a series of fashion shows in the Market Square to highlight some of the best picks the shopping centre has to offer.
It’s not only a chance to see the clothes on someone else, but many of the shops involved are including discounts for the next few days. So it’s possible to save an extra bit of dosh in the run up to what has to be the most expensive month of the year. Thanks Jesus.
Karen Carr, Metro Centre’s Head of Marketing, said: “Fashion shows at the Metro Centre are one of the most popular events that we have throughout the year. The best way to sell clothes is to see them on gorgeous models, but it’s not just size 8 models our models go up to size 14 so it’s about having a realistic look, although they all look fantastic on the catwalk.
“What we’ve introduced this year is
the Little Black Dress Style Pod, which has over 200 dresses there and instead of going right round the centre you can go to one place and see if there’s one for you.”
The fashion shows are running until Sunday, taking place on:
Friday and Saturday: 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm
Sunday: 12pm, 2pm and 3:30.
