Monument Movies’ Monstrous Matinee
By Adam Clery on August 26, 2011 in Film
We wanted to write and tell you about how excited we are that those gorgeous folks behind Monument Movies were planning on showing Jurassic Park (the good one) on the final day of their showcase. So we thought, what better way to do so than to take a picture of a T-Rex in the middle of the monument itself. You wouldn’t believe the trouble we went through to get him to stand still long enough.
Anyway, after over a month of outdoor cinematic frivolity, that’s seen everything from Toy Story to Jaws via Some Like It Hot and 500 Days of Summer, just two more days of screenings remain.
Tuesday 30th August
12 noon Fantastic Mr Fox (PG)
3pm Fantastic Mr Fox (PG)
6pm Jaws (PG)
Thursday 1st September
12 noon Jurassic Park (PG)
3pm Jurassic Park (PG)
6pm Grease (PG)
Screenings are, of course, free to everyone and there’s even a load of deck chairs for you to kick back and relax on. The only thing we can’t guarantee though, is the weather, but I’m sure you all know the drill by now. Enjoy!
*thanks to Kino Creative for the picture, those brave, brave boys.
