Newcastle’s Restaurant Week: OMG! SO MANY NOMS! AND SUCH

By Adam Clery on January 25, 2012 in Food

Food, it’s glorious, you’ve all heard the song. But being, as we are, in the sensual throws of an economic squeeze, you’ll be readily forgiven for making Sugarpuff sandwiches, Potnoodle calzones, and Ryvita marmalade soup your staple diet. It’s nice to have a treat once in a while though, so bully for absolutely everyone that we’re currently tounge-deep in Newcastle’s very own Restaurant Week.

Yummers! For a measly £10 per head you’re now able to dine in some of the city’s finest eateries. What you get for your tenner varies from place to place, but most will seat, feed and water you for your money. The uber generous will even liquor you up slightly.

Set up as part of the city’s Get Into Newcastle and Alive After Five schemes, the opportunity to get some top grub in your belly at a knockdown rate is not something to be sniffed at. Full details of the restaurants involved, what they’re offering, and how to book can be found on their website here. But to peak your interest that little bit further, he’s the list in full.
