Gallery: Theatre Royal’s Birthday Blaze

The revamp of The Theatre Royal was timed to precision for its 175th birthday, just in time to shut down Grey Street and light the bugger up.

I may have been caught up in pacing back and forth taking photographs, but the idea of closing off a street and actually having something to see will hopefully catch on. There’s no doubt that the thousands of people traipsing along with me seemed happy enough with the spectacle but instead of 1,000 words, have a photo gallery instead.
