Check it out guys, in true scoop-scape of the journalism profession, we’ve got an exclusive! We’re like all those magazines you get free in the hairdressers, or those papers your dad used to hit you over the head with. Unbelievable scenes.
Available only through yours truly for the time being (unless you go and find it on YouTube, but don’t be a dick) we present the latest alt-pop-surf-folk sunday dinner from Newcastle fivesome, O’Messy Life. Released as part of the double A-side Little Vehicles/Space Holiday, the video is a sideways look at the fun and frivolity that accompanies the everyday life of living in a suicide cult. A metaphor for call centres, maybe.
As we’ve all come to expect from this lot, the song is a medley of warped pop-sensibilities and has a “hall of mirrors” approach to its many hooks, lines and singers.
Released through Tiny Lights records, everyone’s favourite bedroom label, the twin tracks are available in a physical, real-life, hold in your hand CD, accompanied by complimentary badge and sticker for £3, or as a limited edition release and gig ticket for £9. Shipping when the record is actually released on April 23. In the mean time, head over to their Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or Soundcloud.
Little Vehicles/Space Holiday is avalable from April 23 through bandcamp.
