Preview: Northside Tattooz @ The Pure Gallery

The Pure Gallery is home to showcasing all types of work in the region of Newcastle and the North East. Freelance and full time artists are creating work and showcasing their artwork for the public eye to see. Last year Northside Tattooz showcased it’s basket of extremely talented tattoo artists to show their work.

From the last year being a hit in Whitley Bay it’s back and bigger with more work and more beer. Keeping in mind these are tattoo artists their illustrations and artwork being exhibited is a way of them being able to express their own styles and likeability instead of tattooing “Mum” on some lads neck.

This group of 13 tattoo artists and some being from the original team of when Northside opened in 1990 and over 100 years of experience is shared between each artist, would be kind enough to inspire you for your next tattoo or first on site or just for a general chat.

David ‘Hash’ Ashdown the owner of the Northside Tattooz studio in Whitley Bay stated:
“It’s going to be bigger this year and we’ve got a lot more artists from everywhere in England and some from overseas in too. Also I’ll buy a few more crates as we ran out last year within two hours of opening!”
