PREVIEW: Whitley Bay Film Festival Programme Announced
By Adam Clery on July 27, 2012 in Film
Whitley Bay’s annual celebration of the scintillating cinema nears ever closer, with only 3 weeks to go until its launch night on Friday August 17th. And, in a timely fashion, the festival’s full range of programmed events has just been released for perusal by the filmgoing public of the coast and beyond.
In amongst the usual selection of cult classics, Hollywood smashes, gritty noir and family fun, there’s also a series of programmed events of archived footage, community interest cinema and even a talk with the man behind Porridge and Auf Wiedersen, Pet, Whitley Bay’s very own Ian La Frenais.
But, we shan’t dangle the juicy carrot of intrigue above your head any longer. Instead, here’s the programme in full, complete with links to all the relevant events. Enjoy.
Friday 17th August
