Stockton Calling Returns
Teesside’s multi-venue, all day, music spectacular Stockton Calling returns on Saturday 30 March for it’s fourth year, after what was a raucous and wonderfully attended outing last April.
The third installment of the festival saw headliners Pigeon Detectives, King Charles, Young Rebel Set, Mark Morriss and Cattle & Cane, along with 40 plus other acts, perform to a sell out crowd of 1,100 across the ARC, The Georgian Theatre, KU Bar, The Sun Inn and The Vault.
This year though, they’re expanding to an eye-watering seven venues, with The Green Room, located inside Green Dragon Studios, and The Storytellers, on Dovecot Street, further increasing the capacity and artists on offer. The Green Room in particular will be absolutely class because they’re letting us curate the thing under our illustrious NARC Magazine banner.
Plans are already under way for next year’s event with numerous bands being approached. Chris Cobain of Tees Music Alliance told, “We’ve drawn up our wish list for headline acts. Last years line up was the best so far, which reflected in the event selling out in advance, but we’ve got plans to top it.”
